Traci Dancer-Silverman Obituary – The Arizona Republic

Traci Lynette Dancer-Silverman died on July 13, 2022 in Paradise Valley, AZ from pancreatic cancer. Traci was born in Bloomfield, IA to Carolyn Bogle Shook and Martin Arlo Shook. She graduated from Camanche High School in Camanche, IA, the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and Arizona State University with a master’s degree in English as a second language. She taught Elementary Education in Houston and Phoenix and Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education for the Scottsdale Unified School District for 29 years. Traci is survived by her husband, Tom Silverman, her daughters Sydney Dancer of Scottsdale, AZ and Alexandria Silverman and her husband Ross Silverman of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren Hazel, Harlow and Archer Silverman; his parents Martin & Carolyn Shook of West Des Moines, IA; brother Troy Shook and partner Trevor Jephson of Mission Viejo, California. She is predeceased by her son Chase Parker Dancer, her grandparents Arlo & Ora Shook and Clarance & Virgie Bogle, all of Davis County, IA. Traci will be sorely missed for all the joy she brought to her family, friends and pets.
