Stephanie Harper Snyder Obituary – The Arizona Republic

Stephanie “Mama Snyder” gave birth to four, but was a mother to many. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and wife. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany on September 26, 1967. Spending most of her childhood in central Phoenix, Stephanie attended Most Holy Trinity, St. Francis Xavier, Madison Meadows, Xavier High School and graduated from ‘Arcadia High. At Regis College in Denver, Colorado, she met her future husband, Timothy Snyder, and they were married on February 23, 1990. They first lived in Chicago, Illinois, where the first three were born. of her four boys. Stephanie and Tim and the boys moved back to Arizona, then moved to Palm Desert, California, then to San Diego. By then, Stephanie had become an essential “mother” to a community of friends who reunited with her boys. During her career, Stephanie has worked as a roller skate waitress at 5 & Diner in high school, a preschool teacher, and most recently an Arizona State Employee (DES) in the Department of Adult Protective Services. Stephanie’s Irish eyes were still smiling. She loved children of all ages and laughing! She is survived by her four sons Ryan (Chelsey), Matthew (Emily), Nicholas and Timothy (TJ). His mother Toni Neary Harper, his father Joseph Marty Harper (Kathy), his sister Maggie Easton (Byron) and his brother Kevin Harper as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many close and loving in-laws in Chicago. Services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Saint Barnabas on the Desert Episcopal Church. 6715 N. Mockingbird Ln, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253. (480) 948-5560.
