Sharon Lee Kearns Obituary – The Arizona Republic

Sharon Lee Kearns passed away on July 8, 2022 after a fierce battle with multiple myeloma. Sharon was born on August 14, 1948 in Battle Creek, Michigan. She attended Western Michigan University where she earned her teaching degree. She taught in Chicago schools for several years before finding a career at Allstate Insurance. At Allstate, she was a trimmer and manager for over 15 years. Her life changed in her forties when her daughter Lindsay was born. She devoted her time and passions to motherhood and volunteering. She was active in the Church of the Beatitudes and the Duo. Sharon loved spending her summers relaxing in Ocean Beach, California. She found great joy in planning family trips to Europe. France was his favorite destination. She loved art, her precious friendships and her beloved dog, Remi. Sharon is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Kearns, and her daughter, Lindsay Kearns. A Celebration of Life Reception honoring Sharon will be held Tuesday, August 16 at the Phoenix Country Club from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Duet – Partners in Health and Aging.
