Obituary of William Randall “Randy” Irvine

On August 14, 2022, William Randall “Randy” Irvine, 77, died at his home in Phoenix. Born November 11, 1944 in Tucson to Delbert Bruce and Bonnie Martin Irvine, he was the eldest of their three children. Randy enjoyed every minute of his life, from his time as a paperboy at Orangedale, Glendale High School (1963), ASU and Art Center College of Design (1968). Randy met the love of his life, Deirdre Anne (née McConnell) cruising down Central Avenue in their MGTDs. He served in the Vietnam War and was stationed at Fort Sill, where the first of his three children was born. In 1974, he opened his own graphic design studio, Randy’s Art Works! The family enjoyed celebrating Easter each year with their extended family in Buckeye and spending the summers in Forest Lakes. He is survived by his wife Deirdre, his sister Dianne, his daughters Sarah (Stephen), Bonnie (Michael) and son Zachary (Michele). He has six grandchildren: David (Sinead) Deirdre, Griffin, Benjamin, Julianne and Reylynn. He was predeceased by his parents, stepmother Anita McConnell, brother David and granddaughter Reylynn. In lieu of flowers, please address your donations to the Hospice de la Vallée. A celebration of his life will be held on November 25, 2022 at the Irvine Ranch.
