Obituary of Ronald Lee Chamberlain Sr.

On March 22, 2022, Ronald Lee Chamberlain, Sr. 72, entered into eternal rest. Beloved son, brother, husband, father of 3, grandfather of 17, great-grandfather of 8.

Born in Pontiac MI, he graduated from Holly High School in 1967 and moved in 1968 to Missoula MT with his parents: Barbara and Don Chamberlain, his brothers: Tom, Roy and Dee Chamberlain and his sister, Donnell Hanson. Barbara, Don and Tom preceded Ron in death, the rest of his siblings still live in Missoula.

Ron married Pat Pattan in 1968. They have one son and 2 daughters: Ronald Lee Chamberlain, Jr. has 2 sons, Eron & Zack, and 2 daughters, Ciara & Morgan. Carrie Wooden and her husband, Steve have 2 daughters, Chanel and Savannah. Tracey Chamberlain has a daughter, DaneEque and 2 sons, Devin & Demietri and in 2021 married Mario Palacios.

When Ron married Debbie Littler 25 years ago in April, his family grew with the addition of Debbie’s daughter and 2 step-fathered sons: Michele Miller and her husband, Brady, have 3 daughters Andrea Gordon, Audrey and Ava. Larry Miller and his wife, Kasey, have a son, Chris, and 2 daughters, Kailyn and Lauren. James Littler and his wife, Kay, have a son, Christian, and a daughter, Avigail.

Ron worked for Sletten Construction Company for 32 years and over the years his expertise as a project manager has been widely recognized. His projects included the Chandler Center for the Performing Arts, The Foundry Hotel in downtown Phoenix, The Border Patrol Station at Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, HUMIT in Fort Huachuca, AZ, as well as the renovations transforming Walmart stores in AZ into Supercenters.

He loved the Lord above all else and attended the Central Christian Church and he loved his wife and family. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed woodworking, building furniture, NASCAR and collecting license plates. His final project was the beautiful home he designed and built for himself and Debbie at Apache Junction.

The family will host a celebration of Ron’s life for family, friends, associates and their children at The Barn at Power Ranch. April 14 at 5:00 p.m., 3685 S Autumn Dr, Gilbert, AZ 85297.
