Harry Olaf Burns Obituary – The Arizona Republic

It is with great sadness that the family of Harry Olaf Burns announces his passing at the age of 77. Harry was born in Eugene, Oregon then at 6 months old he moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his mother and grandmother. This is where he lived until he was drafted into the US Army in 1965. Harry would proudly serve his country until 1967. After returning home with the help of his uncle, he joined the carpenters union. Harry was predeceased by his soul mate Sandra Ann Harris on January 23, 1998. Harry and Sandy met around Christmas 1969 and were married shortly after on March 13, 1970. Harry enjoyed spending time with his family and loved being Pap Pap for his grandchildren. Harry also enjoyed spending time with friends and racing on the track. Harry went to join the Lord and was reunited with his wife on Friday July 15, 2022. Harry is survived by his four children Scott (Stacey) Burns, Heather Woldberg, Todd Burns and Troy (Nicole) Burns. 10 grandchildren Aspen (Alexis), Ridge (Madi), Hayden (Olivia), Brody, Emma, ​​​​Faith, Makenzee, Parker, Abby and Makenna. A visit will take place on Wednesday, July 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial service followed by a funeral service on Thursday, July 28 at 10 a.m. All services will be at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery and Funeral Home 1562 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa, Arizona 85204
