It is with saddened hearts that we announce that Curtis Russell Bain, born January 4, 1992, passed away in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, July 22, 2022. In his 30 short years, Curtis taught many things to his family and friends. He taught us that there is nothing beyond our reach. In 2010, Curtis graduated from Paradise Valley High School, where he met some amazing people who would become his lifelong friends. He attended the prestigious WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University where he received his Bachelor of Science with honors before earning his Masters in 2019. To complete his education, Curtis became a Certified Public Accountant in February 2020 This dedication and his passion for learning led him to a successful career that he loved. He taught us about creativity and the soul through his love of music and art. While his charcoal portraits and pencil drawings showed the emotion and innovation of a creator, music was his true passion. It was his brother who played the guitar when they were younger that sparked his burning need to make music. He has mastered an impressive repertoire of songs using a multitude of mostly self-taught musical instruments, including guitar, piano, harmonica, ukulele, mandolin and drums. He was fearless and took every opportunity to get on stage and share his heart and soul with everyone through his music. Finally, he taught us to laugh. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Whether it was game nights, crazy road trips, theme parties, trips to Disneyland, goofing off with his best friend, jumping off the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas or just hanging out, he was always ready to have a good time.
