Arizona State Poker Championship returns July 8

After being postponed for two years due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the The Arizona State Poker Championship will return in July.

The Arizona State Poker Championship will take place July 8-12

The 16th State Poker Tournament will return to Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. Resuming after a two-year postponement due to the pandemic, the Arizona State Poker Championship is expected to launch on July 8 and until July 12. The event will take place in the Talking Stick Arena poker room. The overall prize pool for the prestigious tournament is expected to be over $1 million.

Registration for the tournament already started on May 28. the tournament buy-in is set at $1,100, which also includes a $100 service fee. The buy-in grants poker players $16,000 in tournament chips. However, additional bonus chips of $10,000 can be purchased for an additional $30.

It is important to mention that bonus chips can only be purchased before players have been dealt their first hand. On the other hand, re-registrations for the Arizona State Poker Championship, as well as late registrations will be allowed until the end of the first break for all days.

The championship is one of the most exciting poker events in Arizona

According to Talking Stick Resort, the tournament takes place on June 8 at 9 a.m.. Then the semi-finals will take place on June 11, again from 9 a.m., while the the finals are scheduled for July 12 with 10:00 a.m. as the departure time. In addition to a cash prize, the tournament will award a trophy to the best players.
